Hello everyone!
Today, we are kicking off countdown to the May release! As always, the release is fantastic and there is something for everyone in it. Check MFT blog for more inspiration.

I made a couple of cards for today’s post. Let’s see if you can spot differences. 🙂

I used same products on both the cards- Same die set and same colours. The only difference other than the colour of the card bases is, on one card, I used coloured cardstock and on the other, coloured white die cuts using inks.
Which card do you like better?

I started by die cutting all the elements from MFT premium cardstock. The bottom most layer is Butterscotch, the next is Lemon Drop and the lightest is Chantilly Cream. After I die cut them, I used Lemon drop premium dye ink and added dimension on the outer most layer. On the second layer, I used Butterscotch ink. On the inner most layer, I used Kraft.
For the background, I did ink blending with Caribbean Sea premium dye ink and splattered water and white ink.
After assembling and adhering everything in place, I stamped the sentiment in Kraft.

For my next card, I die cut everything in white and used the same dye ink colours as before to colour the die cuts.
I created the backdrop the same way I did for the first card but with Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide ink.
I added sentinent in grey and adhered the panel on a grey card base.
